About Sri Shirdi Sai Baba
Sri Shirdi Sai Baba, the presiding deity of our temple, embodies the timeless teachings of Shraddha (faith) and Saburi (patience). His divine presence guides countless devotees forward on the spiritual path.
Sri Shirdi Sai Baba is the cornerstone of this spiritual space. Born in 1838 in a village called Shirdi, Sai Baba lived there until his mahasamadhi in 1918.
His teachings transcend all religious boundaries. With the universal message "Sabka Malik Ek" β "The Lord of all is one" β he brought Hindus and Muslims together. Teaching that all religions lead to the same divine truth, he urged his devotees to practise love, compassion and selfless service.
The windows of this sanctum are especially significant β they were brought from Shirdi, the land where Sai Baba walked. These windows are connected to the original Dwarakamayi, the very place where Sai Baba lived and blessed his devotees. This remarkable acquisition is celebrated as one of the many divine stories associated with our temple.
Sai Baba's central teachings of Shraddha and Saburi continue to guide his millions of devotees around the world. "If you look at me, I look at you. Cast your burden on me and I shall bear it." β with these words Sai Baba stood by his devotees, the great one.
